Unprecedented disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have led to social, economic, geopolitical and environmental challenges. Unfortunately, disruptive threats are increasing year after year. Among others, multi-day extreme heat events occur with greater frequency and duration than ever before. Ransomware attacks are hitting tens of hospitals every year with awful consequences. By 2050, 10 million deaths could occur annually by AMR, about ten times more than now. Post COVID-19, the planet is on tenterhooks, fearing the next ominous code name referring to an unknown illness that could ravage the world. While governments build comprehensive risk plans to generate resilience, e.g., National Cyber Strategy, British Energy Security Strategy, etc., no risk assessment will ever be able to identify and assess every possible risk. While planning has improved considerably following the experience of COVID-19 now, more than ever, effective tools are needed to bring plan into action.

FASTWAY stands for delivering a fast way approach to model and assess pathways in high pressure scenarios. To cover the existing market gap, the project proposes an integrated and visual design and assessment web interface that enables multi-organisational stakeholder collaboration. Using a platform-independent and open-source stack strategy, MYSPHERA aims to unleash an invaluable solution for the health and care sector.

FASTWAY is being procured by DYNAMO PCP, an EU Project funded by the European Union. The EU has given a grant for this procurement but it is not participating as a contracting authority in the procurement.
